Set across roughly ten acres in the foothills of the Mourne Mountains, Annett's Garden Centre is a family-operated nursery known for excellent plant quality, a warm welcome and a genuinely inspiring environment. Alongside the centre, Annett Landscaping designs, builds and maintains gardens for customers right across the region.

The work

Hands-on, varied, and outdoors every day

Whichever role you join in, no two weeks look the same. Our teams move between landscaping projects, garden maintenance and nursery work — building, planting and finishing gardens our customers are proud of.

Two ways to join the team

Both roles are full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, based at our Warrenpoint site, with 28 days' paid annual leave (inclusive of bank and public holidays).

Experienced landscaper working on a garden build 2+ years' experience

Experienced Landscaper

  • Salary£14–£15 / hour*
  • HoursMon–Fri, 8am–5pm
  • TypeFull-time
  • LocationWarrenpoint

*Commensurate with experience.

For someone with practical knowledge, confidence on-site and a strong eye for quality. You'll deliver a high-quality finish on every job and help guide junior team members.

The work

  • Soft landscaping, planting, turfing, pruning & maintenance
  • Preparing sites for landscaping projects
  • Using tools, equipment & machinery safely and correctly
  • Working to agreed standards and timescales
  • Helping guide junior or trainee team members

What's required

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in landscaping, gardening or a related outdoor trade
  • Good practical knowledge & strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and hard-working
  • Confident with common landscaping tools & machinery
  • Physically fit; full driving licence beneficial

Trainee learning landscaping and planting skills No experience needed

Trainee Landscaper

  • Salary£12.71 / hour
  • HoursMon–Fri, 8am–5pm

A great start for someone who loves the outdoors and wants to learn from a seasoned team. You don't need years of experience — attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn matter most.

The work

  • Assisting with soft landscaping & general garden work
  • Helping prepare sites for landscaping projects
  • Planting, turfing, pruning & garden maintenance
  • Learning to use tools, equipment & machinery safely
  • Working safely and efficiently as part of a team

What's required

  • Passionate about gardens and outdoor work
  • Reliable, punctual and hard-working
  • Willing to learn and follow instructions
  • Focused on quality and attention to detail
  • Physically fit; previous outdoor work useful but not essential
